All Aluminum Alloy Conductor AAAC

Alcan Cable's All Aluminum Alloy Conductor (AAAC) cable offers better sag performance than traditional AAC due to the high strength-to-weight ratio of its 6201-T81 alloy. This cable also delivers higher corrosion resistance than ACSR conductors.

  • Concentrically stranded bare conductor consisting entirely of aluminum alloy 6201-T81 wires
  • Available in both single and multi-layer constructions
  • Meets or exceeds industry requirements per ASTM specifications B398 and B399
