NUAL® Brand Type TECK90

General Cable’s TECK90 is an armoured cable with a flexible, interlocked aluminum armour. The NUAL® Brand ACM conductors, having a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation with a temperature rating of -40° C to 90°C, are covered with a PVC jacket.   The entire cable assembly has an outer PVC jacket over the armour. The PVC jackets have a temperature rating of -40°C to 90°C.  On single-conductor cables, the bonding conductor is applied helically around the phase conductor.  Each TECK90 cable is filled to round using non-hygroscopic filler, ensuring uniform concentricity and easy pulling. The jacket has metre markings, which makes a much quicker task of measuring and cutting lengths. The accuracy of these markings is verified by gauges calibrated to international standards.

  • CSA-approved for open and concealed wiring, direct burial, and for use in Class I, II & III hazardous locations*
  • Multi-conductor constructions available in 600 and 1000 volt ratings in sizes 6 AWG to 750 kcmil (13.3 to 380 mm2 ) NUAL® Brand conductors
  • Identifies phases with the words one, two, and three in the print legends in multi-conductor constructions for sizes 1 AWG and larger, and with colour coding for sizes smaller than 1 AWG Class 1 Zone 1 and 2, and Classes 2 and 3, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations*

    * The armour and concentric bonding conductors of single conductor metal sheathed and metal armoured cables may carry a standing voltage with respect to ground. As this is directly proportional to the magnitude of the current in the conductor and the length of the cable, it may create sparks if grounded. Therefore, General Cable has not marked the single conductor product H.L., and it is not suitable for hazardous locations.
