NUAL® Brand Type AC90

 General Cable’s AC90 is an armoured cable with a flexible, interlocked aluminum armour. The AC90 consists of one to four 90°C rated, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated NUAL® Brand ACM conductors and one bare bonding conductor. On single-conductor cables, the bonding conductor is applied concentrically around the phase conductor. The AC90 replaces conduit and wire applications, thereby reducing the labour-intensive operations of pulling in conductors, threading, and forming conduits.

  • Approved by the Canadian Electrical Code for open and concealed wiring in dry locations
  • Considered similar to pipe and wire by the Canadian Building Code
  • Single conductor AC90 cables available in sizes from 1/0AWG to 750 kcmil in NUAL® Brand aluminum alloy
  • Multi-conductor AC90 cables available in sizes from 6 AWG to 750 kcmil in NUAL® Brand aluminum alloy
